United Airlines is set to debut a revamped Boeing 787-9 interior in 2026, featuring the new Polaris Studio suites and improved seating for international flights. The modernized cabins will include premium amenities, larger screens, and enhanced privacy across all classes. With a $150 million investment, United aims to elevate the in-flight experience amid operational challenges and increased scrutiny in the airline industry. United CEO Scott Kirby emphasized the airline’s commitment to innovation, while the unveiling was briefly interrupted by protesting flight attendants. The first international flights will be from San Francisco to Singapore and London.
