Biden Demands Investigations After Minneapolis ICE Shootings

Former President Joe Biden posted on X calling the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti "senseless" and demanding "full, fair and transparent investigations" into their deaths.

Both deaths involved federal immigration enforcement in Minneapolis—Renee Good was shot by an ICE officer and Alex Pretti was shot after an altercation with Border Patrol agents, sparking mass demonstrations, according to news accounts.

Kamala Harris, who served as Biden's vice president, called Good's shooting "shocking" and said the administration's explanation was "pure gaslighting" in public remarks.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey told U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to "get the f--- out" of his city and local leaders demanded federal agents be pulled from neighborhoods, according to city statements.

President Donald Trump said he was dispatching border czar Tom Homan to Minnesota and announced a "major investigation," while lawmakers from both parties called for independent probes, according to his Truth Social posts.
